Description

Niaouli is related to Tea Tree and Cajeput and is a strong decongestant and antiseptic oil. These properties make it a superb oil to have around in the winter, and it can be sniffed directly from the bottle or used in steam inhalation. It is also frequently used as a support for troubled skin in a massage blend. The aroma is camphoraceous with a pleasant sweetness which makes it more agreeable and less medicinal than Tea Tree. During the winter try creating a blend with other melaleuca oils such as tea-tree and cajeput, and also with lavender. This essential oil is used in the treatment of all types of infectious diseases such as: respiratory infections, otitis media, herpes virus infections, HPV, HIV and viral hepatitis.
